GENERAL PURPOSE:
Keeps working areas in YESCO production facilities and departments in orderly condition by moving necessary items in the facility safely, effectively and efficiently. Assists with recording and training on safety issues. Performs daily patrols and generates leads. Assists Service sales and production staff as needed. Receives and delivers product as needed into the shop as well as on site.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Uses the YESCO CRM to assist Service Sales;
- Drives around the region and performs day patrols of new customers.
- Generate and/or update leads in Servizio.
- Perform electronic “first contact” with new leads.
- Work in tandem with the Service Account Executive to exponentially increase sales.
- Arranges boxes, material, and hand trucks or other industrial equipment in a neat and orderly manner in the shop.
- Transport raw materials and semi-finished products or supplies between departments or buildings to supply machine tenders or operators with materials for processing.
- Operate a forklift to unload and load skids, pallets, crates and materials.
- Receive deliveries - verify delivery accuracy - turn in paperwork.
- Keeps stockroom organized and clean.
- Weekly - Secure safety training docs from Operations and Sheet Metal Departments.
- Monthly - Present a safety topic in the sales meeting.
- Responsibility - Record training records, send them to safety manager in SLC, and make sure we’re having weekly safety toolbox meetings.
- Performs accident investigations; maintains safety supplies; attends monthly corporate safety meetings, enforce and report on weekly toolbox topics.
- Generating or updating leads in Servizio.
MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitoring fleet, equipment & tools.
- Handles take downs of trailers.
- Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned.
NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS:
- Interacts daily with employees and supervisors at the YESCO facilities to discuss facility projects
- Interacts daily with vendors to coordinate trash, waste, and recyclables removal
TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED and up to one month of material handling or related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to safely and effectively operator a forklift
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Computer knowledge
- Ability to move materials, equipment, and completed projects
- Ability to communicate in person
- Good driving record
