Key Responsibilities
Your key duties as a Scheduler will include:
- Appointment Coordination:
- Log and manage requests for off-site appointments and diagnostic studies.
- Schedule chronic clinic appointments and maintain appointment logs, ensuring compliance with DOC protocols.
- Coordinate on-site specialty appointments, such as X-ray, physical therapy, and medical-surgical subspecialties.
- Data Management:
- Collect data from ER logs, segregation logs, and other sources for monthly Quality Improvement (QI) reports.
- Track test results, consultation reports, and other relevant medical data.
- Clerical Support:
- Answer telephones, take messages, and make calls as required.
- Type correspondence, reports, and memorandums as needed.
- Maintain rosters or appointment books for both on-site and off-site appointments.
- Office Management:
- Order, receive, and manage office supplies.
- Update medical diet lists as required.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining medical records and perform other related duties as assigned.
As a Scheduler at YesCare, you will play an integral role in maintaining efficient healthcare operations. Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in scheduling or administrative assistant in a healthcare environment
- Must have organizational, computer skills and multitasking skills.
- Security Requirements:
- Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements.
- Background check, security clearance, and drug screening are mandatory for this role.
