Key Responsibilities
- Collect, prepare, and protect specimens for accurate testing.
- Process specimens for shipment to the appropriate labs while ensuring compliance with handling and storage protocols.
- Perform regular calibrations and maintain reference standards to ensure accurate test results.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and critical incidents to provide timely care.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to laboratory services and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of tests performed and complete required reports.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment in compliance with Universal Precautions and other infection control standards.
- Adhere to YesCare’s safety and security policies and procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
- Completion of an accredited Phlebotomy Technology program.
- Minimum of two year of phlebotomy experience required.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements.
- Must pass a background check, security clearance, and drug screening.
