Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Monitoring and Care:
- Take and record patients’ vital signs, height, and weight.
- Perform blood draws, assist with PPD tests, and conduct EKGs as required.
- Measure and document fluid intake and output.
- Treatment Assistance:
- Support patient treatments, including dressing changes, decubitus ulcer care, and tracheostomy care.
- Assist in scheduling patient appointments to ensure continuity of care.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Follow YesCare and facility safety and security policies, including participation in disaster drills.
- Adhere to regulations for handling keys, sharps, and controlled medications.
This Position Is An 0830-1700, Every Other Weekend Position.
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Certification: Must hold a valid CNA certification from a recognized professional organization in the state of hire.
- Strong critical thinking and organizational abilities.
- Decisive judgment and effective communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Work Environment: Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and stressful environment, taking appropriate actions as needed.
- Screening Requirements: Background check, security clearance, and drug screening are mandatory.
