THE ROLE
When you join the YES Prep team, some of the work and responsibilities will include:
- Proactively building and maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation for enterprise Ed tech tools and platforms as technology evolves, including configurations, processes, and system dependencies;
- Creating and maintaining end-user resources: reference guides, how-to materials, SOPs, and knowledge base articles that are clear, accessible, and campus-ready;
- Managing change control for the technical environment, ensuring all changes are documented, tested, approved, and communicated according to established procedures;
- Maintaining and updating the change log and supporting the Director of Technology Strategy & Innovation in tracking portfolio decisions and technology updates;
- Designing and delivering in-person training for enterprise applications, including presenting to large groups of campus staff, administrators, and Home Office teams;
- Creating role-based training materials in multiple formats, including video and written guides, to meet staff where they are, from first-time users to power users;
- Coordinating and drafting technology strategy communication on behalf of the team, translating technical decisions into plain language for a broad audience;
- Establishing feedback loops after training and communications to measure understanding and identify gaps;
- Escalating enterprise application questions from campus and Home Office staff to the correct team member;
- Troubleshooting enterprise application issues in partnership with the Enterprise Systems Engineer by investigating problems, documenting findings, and supporting resolution;
- Supporting integration work by coordinating testing, tracking issues, and communicating status updates to stakeholders during system changes or implementations;
- Monitoring application performance and flagging emerging issues proactively before they impact users.

THE MUST HAVES
- Associate degree
- 2 years of experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, SOPs, knowledge base articles, and end-user resources for enterprise applications
- Experience designing and delivering training for diverse audiences, including campus-based and Home Office staff
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear, user-friendly language
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Ability to build collaborative relationships across technical and non-technical teams
- Belief in and commitment to the mission and core values of YES Prep Public Schools
- Desire to disrupt systemic status quos in education

- Passion to develop resiliency through a relentless pursuit of jaw-dropping results

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution
- Experience working in K-12 education, higher education, nonprofit, or another mission-driven organization
- Experience supporting enterprise applications, systems implementations, or technology rollouts in a complex organization
- Experience supporting user adoption and communications during technology initiatives
- Background in change management or ITSM practices
- Technical degree, certification, or background in enterprise systems
- Compensation – This position is an exempt, salaried position; offers commensurate with experience.
- Health and Supplemental Insurance – A $0 monthly medical option or a $24 monthly option that includes $50 YES Prep Paid Health Savings Account contribution, in addition to a variety of supplemental benefits including Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, etc. Employees must work 20 hours a week to be eligible for a full spectrum of benefits, and 10 hours a week minimum for medical benefits.

- Paid Time Off – Employees working 20 hours a week receive 15 days of Paid Time Off in addition to the system closures during the Academic Calendar.
