Job Description
We are seeking experienced Hearing Instrument Specialists or Audiologists to conduct in-office hearing care services and participate in community events. This role offers flexible scheduling, competitive hourly pay, and commission-based earnings. There are both full-time and part-time positions available.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-office appointments for hearing aid fittings and follow-ups at designated Yes Hearing office locations.
- Provide hearing tests and recommend hearing aid solutions to patients.
- Sell hearing aids and provide ongoing patient care.
- Attend local events (e.g., senior living expos, community gatherings, health fairs) to generate leads and conduct initial hearing screenings.
- Coordinate and organize follow-up care for patients.
Commitment & Scheduling:
- Minimum commitment of 2 day per week for at least 6 months.
- Work may start at a half-day commitment and increase as patient volume grows.
- Locations include designated Regus office spaces or local event venues (within a ~30-mile radius).
Work Environment:
- Offices will be private spaces within a co-working building or medical suite.
- Offices will be equipped with a laptop, audiometer, and necessary testing tools.
Compensation & Incentives:
- Hourly Pay: $40 per hour.
- Minimum Guarantee: $160 for a half-day (4 hours).
- Event Bonus: Additional $25 per appointment generated at events.
- Commission: 10% commission on all hearing aid sales generated from leads acquired at events or from in-office appointments where a sale was not made prior.
- Guaranteed Payment: If an event is canceled or no patients show up, providers still receive a minimum of $160 (4 hours' pay).
Requirements:
- Licensed to dispense hearing aids as an Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist.
- Minimum of two years of experience.
- Willingness to work at in-office locations and attend community events.
