Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and experienced Event Designer to join our dynamic team. They will be responsible for creating the overall look and feel of an event, translating client visions into tangible experiences. This involves developing design concepts, selecting decor, managing budgets, and coordinating with vendors to bring the event to life. They work closely with clients to understand their needs and then use their creativity and technical skills to produce visually appealing and engaging events. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for innovative design solutions, and the ability to lead projects from concept to completion.
Responsibilities
Concept Development:
Creating unique and engaging event designs based on client briefs, industry trends, and event objectives.
Design Planning:
Developing detailed design plans, including sketches, mood boards, and 3D renderings, to visualize the event space.
Material Selection:
Sourcing and selecting appropriate decor, furniture, lighting, and other elements to execute the design.
Budget Management:
Managing event budgets effectively and ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining design integrity.
Timeline Management:
Developing and managing event timelines to ensure timely completion of all design-related tasks.
On-site Execution:
Overseeing the setup of the event space, ensuring that the design vision is accurately realized.
Client Communication:
Maintaining clear and consistent communication with clients, providing updates on design progress and addressing any concerns.
Trend Awareness:
Staying informed about the latest trends in event design and incorporating innovative ideas to enhance the event experience.
Sales Strategy & Execution:. Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to drive event revenue, identify target markets, and build relationships with potential clients.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Creative and Imaginative: A strong sense of aesthetics and the ability
- Experience: Proven experience of 3 years or more in event production design, layout design, and visual design.
- Portfolio: Showcasing a diverse range of design work that demonstrates creativity and technical skills
- Strong Communication Skills: Effectively communicating with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Organizational Skills: Managing multiple projects, deadlines, and budgets simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Addressing challenges and finding creative solutions during the event planning process.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with event trends, decor options, and vendor capabilities.
- Sales Expertise: Proven track record in sales, with experience in developing and implementing sales strategies.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and generate reports to track progress against goals and identify areas for improvement
