Position Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Internal Audit Manager to lead initiatives that strengthen our internal controls, advance risk management, and promote compliance across the organization. This high-impact role offers the opportunity to shape the internal audit function, collaborate with senior leadership, and drive continuous improvement in business processes and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with identifying audit priorities and key risk areas used to determine project plan.
- Confirm, develop, update, and enhance internal control documentation to align with best practices.
- Review accounting records and operational metrics to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Lead and manage audit engagements, including scoping, fieldwork, and reporting to stakeholders.
- Validate that control gaps and internal audit findings and recommendations are addressed through timely corrective actions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or CIA certification preferred.
- 5 years in internal audit, including leadership roles.
- Established capability to design and evaluate internal controls.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing internal audit programs.
- Strong knowledge of COSO and COBIT frameworks, GAAP, and auditing standards.
- Proficiency in audit software (e.g., AuditBoard, TeamMate) and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a demanding environment.
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, and collaborative across teams.
