SPECIAL FINANCE MANAGER
Yes Automotive – Lima, Ohio
Yes Automotive is expanding its presence in the Lima, Ohio market and is seeking a proven Special Finance Manager to lead subprime and special finance operations.
This is a high-volume, high-accountability role. You will be responsible for structuring and funding deals for customers with credit challenges, maximizing gross profit per deal, and working closely with the sales team to improve overall finance penetration.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full special finance process from credit application through funding
- Structure deals using subprime and specialty lenders to maximize approvals and gross
- Review credit reports, calculate debt-to-income, and present realistic payment options to customers
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with subprime finance sources
- Partner with sales managers and salespeople to identify finance opportunities early in the deal
- Ensure 100% compliance on all paperwork, disclosures, and funding packages
- Hit monthly targets for finance deals closed and finance gross profit generated
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Minimum 2 years of direct experience as a Finance Manager or Special Finance Manager in automotive retail
- Must have subprime finance experience — proven track record of structuring and funding subprime auto loans is required
- Strong working knowledge of credit analysis, subprime lender guidelines, deal structuring, and funding processes
- Experience with DealerTrack, RouteOne, or similar platforms preferred
- Excellent closing and negotiation skills
- High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and must pass background check
