The job:
This role serves as the initial step in learning the specialized skill of Flexographic Printing. Flexographic Printing is a high-speed rotary printing method that uses flexible plates to transfer ink on a substrate.

In this position, you will be part of a three-person team that prints labels used on food and other consumer goods. Primarily, you will be responsible for using machinery designed to convert labels into individual rolls. In order to do this successfully you will need to:

• Have great attention to detail.
• Desire to learn and pursue a career.

What we offer:

Starting Wage for 1st shift is $18.00/hour

We offer a highly competitive pay scale that gives team members the ability to "earn more when you learn more." During a new team member's initial training period they will earn two raises as they show competency in their role. Team members then have the ability to earn additional pay increases, if they choose to take advantage of training opportunities that prepare them for their next promotion.

Shift Differential $2.50/hour

At Yerecic Label, we understand the challenges of some shifts, therefore we provide a $2.50 per hour shift differential on top of our already competitive starting wage. As a second or third shift team member, you will be starting out at $20.50 per hour.

Yerecic Label is currently hiring for all shifts, but we are prioritizing 3rd shift openings; our shift times are:

• 1st shift: 7:30 AM - 4 PM
• 2nd shift: 3:30 PM - 12 AM (Shift differential applies)
• 3rd shift: 11:30 PM - 8 AM (Shift differential applies)

Qualifications/Skills Required:

• Relevant Experience is preferred.
• Mechanical Aptitude is Required.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Reliable transportation.
• Basic computer skills and good mathematical skills.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

• The team member is required to stand for their entire shift, bending and squatting is frequent as well.
• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is exposed to moving mechanical parts and must have physical dexterity to use hand tools.
• Repetitive actions that entail use of fingers, hands, arms and legs such as bending, stooping and lifting are required.
• Regular requirements of safely lifting, pushing, pulling up to 40 lbs and on occasion 55-60 lbs.
• Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, inspect parts and identify color is also required.
• We cannot accommodate individuals with any level of color blindness.

Pre-Employment Testing:

Yerecic Label will conduct pre-employment testing to ensure that you are a good fit for our team. That testing will include:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.50 per hour
