Senior Electrical Engineer / Discipline Lead
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Salary: $150,000–$180,000 DOE
Schedule: In Office | Four 9-hour days ½ day Friday
For ine of our clients, a nationwide EPC firm, we are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer / Discipline Lead to lead electrical engineering projects from initial scope through execution. This individual will serve as the electrical lead and primary technical representative to the client, owning scope development, estimating, budgeting, engineering execution, and team direction. This is a temp to perm opportunity
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Electrical Discipline Lead and technical point of contact for clients.
- Develop and own the complete electrical scope of work.
- Prepare project cost estimates and budgets.
- Lead electrical engineering through all phases of project execution.
- Design medium- and low-voltage power systems.
- Specify transformers, generators, grounding systems, and related equipment.
- Apply NEC, API, hazardous-area classification, and applicable industry standards.
- Direct engineers, designers, and drafters to ensure quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, Project Managers, and other engineering disciplines.
- Support construction through field verification, RFIs, submittal reviews, and site observations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Senior-level electrical engineering and project/discipline leadership experience.
- A/E experience supporting specialty chemical, heavy industrial, and/or manufacturing projects.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, SKM PowerTools and/or ETAP.
- Strong client-facing, estimating, budgeting, and technical communication skills.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
- Must work in office.
Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
