Yepremyan Law Firm is seeking an organized, proactive litigation paralegal with at least two years of litigation experience, to work directly with a plaintiff’s attorney on approximately 40 active litigation matters. Prior experience in California plaintiff personal injury litigation is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Draft discovery responses, including coordinating with clients to obtain information and documents, preparing verifications, and organizing document productions.
- Assist with propounding discovery, reviewing responses, and preparing meet-and-confer correspondence.
- Assist with drafting, formatting, and filing motions, supporting declarations, and exhibits.
- Conduct legal and factual research under attorney supervision.
- Coordinate depositions, subpoenas, and records requests.
- Prepare cases for trial, including organizing exhibits, witness materials, trial binders, and other required documents.
- Calendar and track court dates, discovery deadlines, filing deadlines, and trial deadlines.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and vendors.
- Maintain organized case files and proactively follow up on outstanding tasks.
Qualifications
- At least two years of hands-on litigation paralegal experience, preferably 2–4 years.
- Familiarity with California civil litigation procedures, discovery, court filings, and calendaring.
- Strong writing, research, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines across approximately 40 cases while working closely with the attorney.
- Attention to detail, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through.
- Experience with Needles or a similar case-management system is a plus.
