Automotive Porter / Detailer

Gary Yeomans Honda is rapidly growing and looking for top Automotive Sales/Service Porters and Detailer to grow our existing teams.

We are seeking a diligent top-notch automotive Sales/Service Porters and Detailer. Our porters should anticipate and address hindrances to operational efficiency. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be a leader and able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring cars are washed, cleaned, and detailed on a daily basis
• Providing assistance with keeping the lot clean and tidy at all times
• Detail and make units ready for delivery
• Stocking in vehicles when they are delivered by transport
• Keeping the books and keys of the inventory organized
• Keeping the vehicles organized
• Filling vehicles with gas
• Monitoring the appearance of the vehicles on display
• Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality eagerness to improve
• Must present themselves in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers.
• Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service
• Greet customers with a smile when they enter the our dealership
• Park and retrieve customer's vehicles
• Ensure that all vehicles are washed when the customer arrives to pick up their vehicle
• Other tasks as needed by the lot manager
• This list of duties is not all-inclusive and may include other duties that management deems necessary at that time.
• Able to work flexible schedules and some weekends
• Follows all safety and security procedures
• A clean and valid driver’s license is REQUIRED.
• Must be dependable and reliable.
• Must be able to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time as well as work outside.
• Do a Quick Alignment check as cars come in.
• Keep Service Drive clean and free of debris.
• Place protective plastic on seat and paper mats on the floor of all incoming cars.
• Keep keys organized for easy quick retrieval.
• Hours 12:00pm till 9:00pm Sunday through Saturday
