Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Assist in writing and editing engaging content, including articles/blogs, eBooks, social media, invitations, and newsletters.
- Digital Marketing Campaigns: Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns by contributing to concept creation, content writing, and imagery to drive audience engagement and brand awareness.
- Graphics: Support graphics for digital and print materials using tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Video: Support video production and editting, bringing ideas and creativity to projects.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with various administrative duties such as maintaining reports, event support, restocking marketing supplies, and local errands.
- Current enrollment as a Junior/Senior in a college program for marketing, communications, advertising, or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication with outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
- Meticulous attention to detail – you catch the little things
- Organized and self-motivated team player able to keep up and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Curiosity and a growth mindset – you ask questions, take the initiative, love learning new things, and bring ideas
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment while also being comfortable working independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator), and/or Video Editing
- Familiarity with Microsoft Sharepoint 365 and/or WordPress (content management systems)
- Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts
- A creative eye for design, brand management, and storytelling
- Reports to Director of Marketing with Marketing Associate providing day-to-day training and supervision
- Paid internship with the opportunity to extend
