We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Whitewater Raft Guides to join our team. As a Whitewater Raft Guide, you will have the opportunity to lead and educate guests on thrilling rafting adventures. Duties:
- Lead whitewater rafting trips, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants
- Provide clear and concise instructions to guests on paddling techniques and safety procedures
- Navigate through rapids and obstacles while maintaining control of the raft
- Educate guests about the local environment, wildlife, and history of the area
- Assist with equipment setup and maintenance
- Communicate effectively with guests, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
- Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Whitewater Raft Guide is preferred but not required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and instruct guests effectively
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus, as it allows for better communication with a diverse range of guests
- Excellent public speaking skills to engage and educate guests during the rafting trip
- Time management skills to ensure trips run smoothly and on schedule
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and provide exceptional customer service
