Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for seasonal Warehouse Clerks to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in West Yellowstone, Montana. As a Warehouse Clerk, you will be responsible for completing tasks across shipping, receiving, and inventorying. What will you do?
- Unload, unpack, and inspect shipments of products, and report any damage, missing items, or inconsistencies
- Price items with appropriate mark-ups and labeling for inventory control
- Maintain the recycling program including collection and organization of cardboard
- Aid in the maintenance of merchandise counts, daily records, and transfers within the inventory system
- Assist in physical inventories and inform supervisor of any low or over abundance in stock
- Receiving using a data entry system, inventorying, and shipping
More about you
- No high school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a warehouse
- Experience receiving using a data entry system, inventorying, and shipping
- Computer knowledge and good communication skills
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle counts accurately
Physical requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, type, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach above head for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry 10-50 lb boxes/other objects, pull or push heavy carts of stock and move 100 lb.-1200 lb. pallets w/ electric and manual pallet jacks continuously
- Ability to climb up and down 3’-12’ ladders w/ items and boxes
- Ability to work in a variety of temperatures, noises, and a dusty warehouse environment
- Use a variety of warehouse tools, resources and equipment
- Wear steel or composite safety toe shoes daily
