The opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Vehicle Technicians to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in West Yellowstone, Montana. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for keeping the fleet in working order by performing regular inspections and maintenance. What will you do?
- Perform complex diagnostics on all vehicle systems
- Determines, completes, and documents appropriate maintenance and repairs on all vehicle components
- Knowledge of other fleet repair programs
- Perform and document preventative maintenance procedures per vehicle specifications
- Conducts road/trail service calls for repair or rescue, diagnosing issues accurately and safely
- Drive motorized vehicles when necessary
More about you
- 2 years’ experience in fleet maintenance of trucks, vans, cars, and service
- Knowledge of OEM parts and vehicle repair, with a background and knowledge of all aspects of fleet operations
- This position requires the employee to drive company vehicles; the successful applicant will have an unrestricted driver’s license and can pass a DOT physical
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently, prepare and maintain records, and follow instructions effectively
- ASE certification is preferred but not required
- Must have a valid state driver’s license
