We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented Interior Horticulturists who take pride in their work, move with urgency, and care deeply about plant health, aesthetics, and client experience. This is a hands-on, client-facing role for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, value accountability, and are excited by the intersection of horticulture, design, technology, and operational systems.

Job Qualifications / Requirements
- Strong interest in interior tropical plants and horticulture
- Minimum 1 year of professional plant care experience OR degree/certification in horticulture or related field
- Exceptional reliability, attendance, and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and maintain high standards without constant supervision
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and visual presentation
- Comfortable using smartphones, Google Workspace, and digital documentation systems Interest in automation, systems, technology, or AI-enabled workflows is highly valued
- Ability to navigate NYC efficiently using public transit
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving, service-oriented environment
- Ability to regularly lift and carry 35 lbs
- Ability to safely work on ladders up to 16 feet tall
- Availability to work one weekly off-hours shift (6am–2pm)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday 1/2
Responsibilities
- Assess plant health and individual watering needs to maintain optimal condition
- Monitor for pests and implement treatment plans as needed
- Prune, groom, and clean plants to maintain a polished aesthetic standard Inspect, operate, and troubleshoot automated irrigation and lighting systems
- Assist with plant installations, deliveries, staging, and seasonal rotations
- Support living wall installations and specialty botanical projects
- Maintain accurate daily service notes, photos, and maintenance records using Google
- Workspace and company systems Review company calendar, route updates, and communications daily
- Care for plant inventory and staging materials at Greenery NYC HQ/studio
- Contribute to operational improvements and maintain consistently high standards across all client spaces
- Participate actively in team meetings, training, and company initiatives
- Continuously develop horticultural knowledge and technical proficiency Deliver a professional, polished client experience at every property visit
Pay Rate: $25/hour
