- Acts as a project manager responsible for administering County RSID’s for roads, parks, and dry hydrants; coordinate with neighborhoods on recommendations as it relates to neighborhood maintenance needs; prepare cost estimates, and bid documents accordingly;
- In coordination with the Finance Department, review annually RSID assessments and make recommendations for assessment amounts based on project needs and estimated costs;
- Develop maintenance schedules and project implementation schedules for RSIDs; Recommendations should be prioritized and utilize data to inform priority;
- Serves as project manager on assigned projects; oversees, directs, and reviews the work of technical project staff including consultants; Projects are typically smaller in scale and maintenance related.
- Responsible for overseeing projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are executed within the designated timeline, budget, and quality standards;
- Prepares preliminary and final estimates of work and material requirements; coordinates required advertising for bids.
- Graduation from college or university of recognized standing with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; and
- One (1) years’ experience within the field; or
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience totaling five (5) years.
Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License issued by the State of Montana.
Required:
- Must pass a criminal and driving background check and meet any County-specific employment eligibility standards.
Salary : $33 - $39
