Position Summary: At Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, we count on the Therapeutic Group Home (TGH) Manager to provide leadership to Mental Health Workers to assure a safe environment that supports trauma informed care. They will serve as an active member of the Leadership Team, partnering with other leaders working to assure adherence to the mission and values of Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch. TGH Manager will actively work to attain the strategic goals established in the strategic plan. Additionally, they will serve as a primary point of contact with outside agencies, partners, and youth families.
Salary Range: $1,841.80 - $2,072.96 bi-weekly. Salary reflects steps 1-5 of an 11-step pay schedule. The starting salary will be determined based on the applicant’s education and relevant experience.

Daily And Monthly Responsibilities
- Monitor staff performance, provide feedback and guidance to Mental Health Workers and Lead Mental Health Workers, ensuring that all staff members are professionally trained and certified and that the milieu program follows YBGR policies and is consistent with YBGR treatment philosophy.
- Ensure a safe environment for youth that allows for quality care to achieve their treatment goals.
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation, when necessary, as part of the regular delivery of services or through an as needed or on-call basis.
- Responsible for various administrative areas involving but not limited to scheduling, supervision, budgetary and fiscal matters, and other areas as assigned.
- Collaborate as a member of the Lodge’s Treatment Team as assigned. Ensure timely, outcomesbased treatment planning documentation is submitted for all MTPR’s and individualized treatment plans are being implemented correctly.
- Develop and maintain effective communication and working relationships with the families and collaterals of the residents
Required Qualifications:
- 21 years old or older
- Criminal / Child Abuse Clearance: Must pass criminal record and child abuse registry background check as required by the State of Montana.
- Education and Experience: a. an advanced degree in social work or a comparable human service field and two years of relevant experience; or b. a bachelor’s degree in social work or a comparable human service field and four or more years of relevant experience.
- License to operate passenger vehicle.
