We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will p rovide quality therapeutic treatment to children with emotional and psychiatric problems to maintain them in the school/home/community environment.
This position is responsible for working with a diverse student population in need of consistency, structure, and emotional support and will be working in direct contact with youth and an educational team that includes a teacher, paraprofessional and therapist. Yellowstone Academy educates a population of youth in a Day Treatment setting and that is the setting of service for this position. We are looking for candidates that are passionate about the growth and development of children in our care. Candidates start at $18.25/hour or more DOE. The hours of a Behavior Specialist are Monday through Friday 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. and employees are expected to be present during all working hours. There is a minimum age requirement of 21 years old for this position. Tuition assistance is available after 6 months of employment for those interested in pursuing post-secondary education.
