Description:
- Cross-border travel between United States and Canada.
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture. Follow all safety policies and procedures as well as State and Federal regulations, including but not limited to pre-trip and post-trip reporting, proper load securement and maintaining a detailed log of working hours.
- Facilitate routine service on trucks, retain maintenance records, daily logs, and truck inspection records.
- Keep appearance of assigned truck clean, inside, and out.
- Provide an exceptional level of customer service to all internal and external customers.
- Excellent navigation skills and proficiency in using navigation applications to find delivery locations.
- Time management and organizational skills to keep track of deliveries and stay on schedule.
- Must possess valid Commercial Driver’s License
- Ability to pass background and drug testing
- Must possess current United States Passport
- Ability to pass a medical examination to obtain DOT medical card
- Minimum of 3 years driving a commercial DOT regulated vehicle, hauling heavy and light rental equipment with long and short haul driving
- Experience loading, securing, and unloading heavy and light equipment
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Familiarity with DOT logbook and e-logs
- Must be able to work nights and weekends
