Job Summary
YJ Maintenance Services is OFFICIALLY LAUNCHING IN ST. LOUIS/ST. CHARLES COUNTY MISSOURI! JOIN OUR GROWING TEAM with a GROWING COMPANY! We are hiring a Maintenance Technician / Handyman with strong multi-trade experience to support residential and HOA properties. This role is ideal for someone skilled in electrical, drywall, painting, and exterior repairs and who takes pride in high-quality work, reliability, and professionalism. This hands-on role involves light plumbing, light electrical, general maintenance, troubleshooting, and property upkeep across multiple properties.
Duties
- Complete maintenance, repair, and installation work orders across multiple properties
- Perform electrical repairs (outlets, switches, lighting, GFCIs, ceiling fans, breaker panels)
- Handle drywall repair, patching, and installation
- Execute interior and exterior painting and staining
- Perform exterior maintenance (siding, fascia, gutters, seal coating)
- Troubleshoot and repair lighting systems and fixtures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site
- Communicate effectively with property managers and HOA clients
- Manage time efficiently and complete jobs right the first time
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of maintenance technician, handyman, or multi-trade experience
- Experience working in residential, HOA, or property management environments
- Strong knowledge of electrical, drywall, and general repairs
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly (up to 100 lbs occasionally)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Own basic hand tools
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Leadership qualities that enable guiding junior technicians or assisting in team coordination when necessary.
