Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide project execution
- Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and perform heavy lifting safely on-site
- Execute framing carpentry, trim carpentry, siding installation
- Conduct dimensional measurements using tape measures and other tools to ensure accurate construction work
- Assist with remodeling projects and restoration efforts while maintaining safety protocols at all times
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate progress effectively to supervisors
Qualifications
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, interpretation of technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper form and technique
- Familiarity with construction site safety standards and protocols
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Independent contractor exemption certificate
