Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily dispatch activities, utilizing transportation management systems such as TaxiCaller to optimize routes and schedules.
- Monitor GPS to track vehicle locations, ensuring adherence to planned routes and delivery timelines.
- Communicate effectively with drivers and customers via multi-line phone systems, maintaining professional phone etiquette and clear messaging.
- Oversee fleet management tasks related to vehicle scheduling, maintenance coordination, and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Handle emergency situations or delays promptly by providing clear instructions and updates to all personnel.
Experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally.
- Strong customer service skills and knowledge of Hilton Head Island
- Experience in dispatching within a logistics or transportation environment is preferred. Though, we do provide paid training!
