Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation meet high standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and foster customer loyalty
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, handling cash and card payments efficiently
• Develop innovative beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to increase sales and guest satisfaction
• Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; place orders as needed to ensure smooth operations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff on food service coordination during events or busy periods such as banquets or catering functions

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits industry trends
• Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions swiftly and accurately
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism
• Experience in fine dining settings or hospitality industry environments preferred
• Ability to develop new beverage recipes creatively while adhering to safety standards
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling practices, and proper sanitation procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management
• Previous experience in restaurant or banquet settings is highly desirable; catering experience is a plus
• Familiarity with beverage trends such as brewing techniques or spirits knowledge enhances service quality
