What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Education Teacher position at Yellow Medicine East Schools?
The Yellow Medicine East School District, Bert Raney Elementary, is seeking a 1.0 FTE physical education teacher with or without Developmental Adapted Physical Education (DAPE) to begin on or around January 5, 2026, to serve students in grades K-5.
Applicants holding a current Minnesota teaching license in the desired field or demonstrating the ability to acquire licensure are preferred. Applicants with a 4-year degree and experience with physical educational activities or working with children are encouraged to inquire with the school. Extra-curricular activities and coaching are expected with this position.

The position offers a competitive salary and insurance including health, dental, life, and long-term disability. Benefits also include TRA retirement, 403b match and pai leave time. Salary range for 1.0 FTE (depending upon qualifications and experience) - $41,837 - $80,788.
