Role Summary:
Yellow Jacket Drilling Services is seeking a motivated and personable Business Development Representative based in Phoenix, AZ, to help expand and strengthen our presence across the Southwest. This individual will be responsible for developing new business, growing existing client accounts, and representing YJD across key market sectors. The ideal candidate is proactive, independent, and customer-focused, with the drive to meet and exceed sales goals while maintaining YJD’s reputation for excellence, safety, and integrity.
Salary: $80,000-$120,000 (DOE)

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 3–5 years of B2B outside sales experience; experience in environmental, geotechnical, water supply, mining or construction-related services preferred.
• Proven ability to develop long-term business relationships and close deals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong time management and follow-through abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (experience with HubSpot a plus).
• Willingness to travel regionally (approximately 30–50%).
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (MVR review required).
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with existing and prospective clients across Arizona and surrounding states.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase market share and meet sales objectives.
• Attend and represent YJD at industry events, trade shows, and association meetings.
• Collaborate closely with district and corporate sales managers to align regional and company-wide sales strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity records in the company CRM, including all client communications, project tracking, and lead development.
• Monitor market trends, client needs, and competitive activity to inform sales approaches.
• Prepare regular reports summarizing sales performance, goals, and market conditions.
• Promote and uphold YJD’s professional brand identity in all client interactions.
