Duties
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials and tools
- Support skilled workers with tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
- Help with site cleanup and organization to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times during daily activities
- Operate basic hand tools under supervision and learn proper usage techniques
- Participate in training sessions to develop technical skills and industry knowledge
- Support various phases of construction projects, including framing, drywall installation, or finishing work as directed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; some experience or coursework related to construction is a plus
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and take direction from experienced tradespeople
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Basic understanding of safety procedures; willingness to adhere to all safety standards on-site
- Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to work in various weather conditions
