Operations Manager – Affordable Housing Services

Location: Ayer, MA | Full-Time | Onsite

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our affordable housing services firm in Ayer, MA. This role is responsible for overseeing daily business operations and ensuring the efficient execution of affordable housing programs from project initiation through lottery management, applicant qualification, and ongoing compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end affordable housing project workflows, including permitting coordination, application setup, lottery administration, and applicant qualification.
• Collaborate with developers, municipal agencies, and state housing authorities.
• Lead daily office operations and maintain a well-coordinated workflow across the organization.
• Supervise and support two office staff members, providing clear direction and mentorship.
• Develop and enhance internal systems, processes, and operational efficiencies.
• Interpret and apply affordable housing regulations; ensure compliance with state and local program requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping for all programs.
• Oversee ongoing compliance monitoring for affordable rental units.
• Support marketing activities related to housing lotteries and compliance programs.
• Communicate professionally and promptly with applicants, clients, local officials, and other stakeholders.
  
  

Compensation

This is a direct hire, full-time position.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Salary Range: $80,000–$100,000, based on experience.
