Bar Tender

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will craft and serve a variety of beverages, provide exceptional customer service, and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Your expertise in beverage preparation, combined with your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, will ensure our patrons enjoy memorable experiences. Whether working in a lively nightclub, elegant fine dining setting, or bustling banquet event, you will be the face of our establishment’s hospitality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to recipes and customer preferences, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, positive manner to enhance their overall experience while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently, ensuring accurate transactions and proper food safety practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations at all times.
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly, identify signs of intoxication, and enforce responsible serving policies.
• Restock bar supplies regularly, track inventory levels, and assist with ordering to ensure the bar is fully stocked for service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills by balancing multiple orders during busy shifts while providing attentive service.
• Uphold all health and safety standards related to food handling, brewing processes (if applicable), and general hospitality operations.

Experience

• Previous experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as a nightclub, restaurant, or banquet setting is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and food handling procedures within the food industry.
• Experience serving in fine dining establishments or catering environments is advantageous.
• Demonstrated skills in retail math, basic math calculations for cash handling, and accurate ticketing.
• Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques including brewing or mixology is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest interactions in diverse hospitality settings.
