Based in Solano County, our expanding portfolio includes residential, office, medical office, light industrial, and residential holdings.
We have developed an innovative and scalable multifamily ground-up housing concept, with our first project in American Canyon, CA already fully entitled. With this model, our ambition is to make a meaningful impact on California’s persistent shortage of affordable market-rate housing.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Development / Construction Manager to join our growing team. This individual will collaborate closely with ownership and our consultant/engineering teams to ensure our multifamily ground-up developments are designed and delivered on budget and on schedule.
This role requires strong project management experience, deep familiarity with residential development/construction, and the ability to oversee multiple stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day project management across design, entitlement, permitting, bidding, and construction phases.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to maintain project budgets and schedules.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Oversee permitting processes and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Monitor construction progress and proactively identify/resolve issues.
- Provide regular updates and reports to ownership on timelines, budgets, and risks.
- Support the long-term scalability of Yeh Area Group’s multifamily housing model.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Real Estate Development, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 4 years of project management experience in residential development and/or construction.
- Proven track record of contract negotiation and vendor/consultant management.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with ownership and consultant teams.
- Mandarin fluency is a plus, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
