We are seeking a General Manager with a true ownership mindset to lead our family business into its next chapter. Key Responsibilities
Growth & Business Strategy
- Strategic Expansion: Partner with ownership to identify new revenue streams, private events, or delivery optimization.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Act as the face of the brand in the community to build a loyal "fan base" and increase repeat business.
- Entrepreneurial Problem Solving: Proactively identify operational gaps and implement creative solutions without waiting for direction.
Operations & Guest Experience
- Daily Oversight: Coordinate FOH and BOH activities to ensure seamless service, food quality, and restaurant cleanliness.
- Quality Obsession: Maintain uncompromising standards, understanding that your personal reputation is tied to every plate served.
- Guest Relations: Engage with customers personally and resolve issues with the grace and authority of an owner.
Team Leadership & Culture
- Staffing & Mentorship: Lead recruitment and training, fostering a collaborative "family" environment to reduce turnover.
- Performance Standards: Set high expectations for the team and provide ongoing coaching to maintain operational excellence.
Financial Stewardship
- Fiscal Responsibility: Manage P&L, labor costs, and inventory as if it were your own money.
- Reporting: Translate complex financial data into actionable insights and regular performance reports for the owners.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant.
- Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of budgeting, COGS, and labor-cost management.
- Leadership: Proven ability to motivate diverse teams and lead through high-pressure situations.
- Growth Drive: A track record of increasing sales or improving profitability in previous roles.
- Flexibility: Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as the business requires.
