Overview
Yeanie's is looking for to bring on a new General Manager in Training as we prepare to expand to several new locations. This role will operate under the current General Manager but is planned to develop into a full General Manager position for our Dorchester location as the current GM moves on to other roles within our growing company. The ideal candidate will have restaurant manager/key holder experience in a QSR/Premium Fast Casual type concept.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and exceptional customer experiences
- Support food preparation, cooking, and food handling to maintain quality standards
- Help oversee POS systems
- Participate in inventory control activities, including stock monitoring and ordering supplies
- Contribute to staff training and development, including interviewing, onboarding, and supervising team members
- Assist with shift management, ensuring proper staffing levels and efficient workflow
- Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations across all kitchen and dining areas
Skills
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service management
- Experience with POS systems
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in quick service or fast food restaurants; casual dining or fine dining experience preferred
- Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food safety practices
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management, training & development, and customer service excellence
- Ability to manage shift operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of hospitality and food quality
- Effective communication skills for interviewing, supervising staff, and engaging with customers

Pay: $50,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
