First Shift Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Reading, PA

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Classification: Exempt

Are you an organized and driven professional with a passion for warehouse operations and team leadership? We're looking for a First Shift Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse team in achieving high standards of productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, and shipping.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all inventory transactions and shipments.
• Monitor and report warehouse performance and team productivity.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean storage area.
• Develop and coach warehouse staff to meet performance and quality goals.
• Manage staffing levels and delegate workloads effectively.
• Communicate with customers to resolve inquiries and issues.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement new procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to support company-wide objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Skilled in using standard office equipment and warehouse management systems.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Physical & Mental Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry moderate loads.
• Manual dexterity for operating office and warehouse equipment.
• Comfortable using stairs and moving throughout the warehouse as needed.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and keyboard manipulation.
