Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fine Dining Server at Ye Olde Centerton Inn, located in Pittsgrove, NJ. As a Fine Dining Server, you will greet and serve guests, guide them through the menu, and provide thoughtful recommendations while maintaining a professional and welcoming demeanor. Responsibilities include preparing table settings, ensuring the dining area is clean and orderly, and delivering food and beverages accurately and promptly. Additionally, you will build a rapport with guests to create a personalized and enjoyable dining experience. Collaboration with team members is essential to ensure seamless service and uphold the restaurant’s high standards.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in fine dining, food and beverage service, or hospitality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for providing exceptional guest service
- Ability to multitask, handle high-pressure situations, and demonstrate attention to detail
- Knowledge of food, wine, and beverage pairings; ability to provide thoughtful recommendations
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to a professional and respectful work environment
- Mandatory Availability to work weekends and holidays as part of a fine dining schedule. Black Friday, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, Valentines Day, Mother’s Day, etc..
- Familiarity with paper dupes and familiarity with a calculator.
