Non Emergency Medical Transportation Specialist

NON-EMERGENCY MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION SPECIALIST

Yellow Cab of Southern KY is looking for motivated individuals to assist with transporting non-emergency medical transportation clients to and from their scheduled appointments. Individual must have knowledge of the area, and be able to manipulate routes to ensure clients reach their destinations in a timely manner. Individual must be able to pass a criminal background check, pass multiple random drug tests, have a state of Kentucky driver’s license and own his or her own vehicle. Individual should have a great attitude and good communication Skills.  YCOSK offices are located in Franklin KY and Florence KY.

Daily Operations:

• Check into office, acquire daily manifest (Client pick up and drop off information) and hourly sheet (drivers assigned to clients)

• Inspect your vehicle, make sure all fluids are full, the vehicle looks good, cosmetically, inside and out, sounds and feels good. If your vehicle is in need of repair, please let your immediate supervisor know and fill out a vehicle write up form. 

• Must arrive in a safe and timely manner to pick up clients and return them home once clients have been released and dispatch notifies available driver.

• Must know proper procedure for no-show clients and execute when applicable.

• During down times, drivers should take time to wash and vacuum their vehicles.

• Drivers are encouraged to look at routes and recognize ways to take more efficient routes to get clients to and from their locations. 

At the end of the day drivers should return their vehicle to the office and drop off all yellow sheets, vehicle maintenance forms and gas receipts to office staff.
