What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator/Material Handler position at YBC?
We are looking for a skilled individual to help on our machinery and help with general warehouse items and moving of materials at our growing small business in East Delray Beach.
Responsibilities:
- Run & load machinery
- Transport materials
- Learn our manufacturing process
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Qualifications:
- Experience as a machine operator
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot machinery
- Fast learner
- Attention to detail
- Reliable with good work ethic
- Physical stamina & strength (must be able to lift 50 lbs easily)
- Knowledge of quality control processes
- Able to make and adhere to schedules
- Analytical skills
- Teamwork & excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-Have (but not necessary):
Bilingual Spanish/English (Portuguese/English is also good)
Pay is commensurate on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
