YB Welding is looking for an Laser Unloader/Laborer to join our fabrication shop. This position involves unloading fiber lasers and stacking and organizing parts on to pallets. The ideal candidate can work as part of a team and take pride in producing quality parts that meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload Fiber Lasers
- Organize parts based on key parameters
- Operate shop equipment such as:
- Grinders
- Forklifts
- Drills and basic shop tools
- Basic measuring tools
- Read and interpret job travelers and product labels
- Verify parts meet quality requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow company procedures and safety guidelines
- Work with shop lead to meet production schedules
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand product labels and paperwork
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
- Experience in a job shop or fabrication environment
- Forklift experience
- Familiarity with ISO-style quality procedures
