Location: Canton, MI, USA
What You’ll Do
- Support our Data Analytics team by:
- Analyzing and transforming data from multiple systems into our enterprise data layer.
- Applying modern analytics techniques and collaborating with business and process experts across the company.
- Mastering complex data sets, spotting trends, identifying outliers, and driving actionable insights.
- Building functional knowledge of Yazaki’s operations to lead data projects from the business side.
- Work on projects such as:
- Transforming inbound data into usable artifacts, assets, and models in a SQL-heavy environment.
- Helping transition Synapse/SQL-based processes into a Microsoft Fabric/Lakehouse environment.
- Partnering with multi-disciplinary teams to design and implement data-centric solutions that support reporting and business processes.
- Support projects and ensure system availability within the IT process framework.
- University degree in IT, mathematics, or engineering.
- Proven experience with IT projects — ideally in automotive, but also valuable from manufacturing, logistics, or engineering industries.
- Business experience in logistics, supply chain, or planning (a big plus).
- Fluent in English (written & spoken); additional languages are an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python/Spark, and Azure Data Factory.
- Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and results-oriented working style.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
