Duties
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist in menu planning, offering creative ideas for new pizza varieties and specials.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient kitchen operations.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management as necessary.
- Uphold fine dining standards in presentation and service, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
- Take orders over the phone or in-person
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant or fine dining setting.
- Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on pizza preparation and cooking techniques.
- Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus.
- Knowledge of menu planning and meal preparation processes.
- Proficient knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
