About the Company
Yawal USA is seeking a highly capable Regional Sales Manager to develop the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic luxury residential market for premium European aluminum window, door, sliding, and façade systems. This is not a commodity sales role. The ideal candidate combines architect credibility, technical understanding, commercial discipline, and the ability to qualify and close complex custom projects.
About the Role
The role will focus on developing relationships with architects, custom builders, developers, premium dealers, and specialized contractors, while also managing project qualification, early technical coordination, and disciplined follow-up through the sales cycle. Build a territory development plan across NJ, NY, CT, MA, PA, MD, VA, and Washington DC, prioritizing high-value luxury residential clusters, key architects, premium builders, and strategic dealers. Segment the territory into priority markets and target accounts rather than pursuing broad, unfocused geographic coverage.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with architects and design professionals to position Yawal early in the specification and design process.
- Identify and acquire new architects, builders, developers, and specialty contractors, while maintaining clear project ownership and avoiding channel conflict.
- Build long-term business relationships in assigned territory.
- Generate qualified pipeline of new opportunities and manage full sales cycle.
- Conduct educational product presentations around thin aesthetics, large formats, energy performance, customization, and European aluminum system capabilities.
- Review architectural drawings, elevations, and project details to qualify opportunities.
- Coordinate quotation requests and internal technical support.
- Support clients during specification and early project development stages.
- Maintain disciplined CRM activity and forecasting.
- Participate in trade events, industry meetings, and networking opportunities.
- Monitor market activity, competitor positioning, and emerging project opportunities.
- Qualify opportunities based on project value, design fit, decision-maker access, budget realism, construction timeline, technical feasibility, and probability of closing.
- Avoid overloading estimating and technical teams with poorly qualified opportunities.
- Maintain clear go / no-go discipline on early-stage projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in premium architectural or construction-related products, luxury residential windows and doors, architectural glazing, aluminum systems, façade systems, curtain wall, minimal sliding doors, premium custom building products, or high-end exterior envelope systems.
- Proven success in developing new business within luxury residential construction.
- Experience selling custom products with project values exceeding $100,000.
- Strong technical understanding of window, door, façade, glazing, or building envelope systems.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to manage long sales cycles and complex negotiations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- High degree of autonomy, discipline, and accountability.
- Existing network within architects, builders, or premium contractors is highly preferred.
