As our Security Officer, you will be expected to provide a reasonable safe and secure environment for all who enter Dignity Health's properties and to assure the physical security of buildings and grounds. Pay Range
$18.00 - $24.41 /hour

You will also support Dignity Health's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities.
- Patrol on foot and by vehicle the facility and grounds, all perimeter buildings and posts
- Regulate parking by employees and visitors and escorting employees
- Responds to calls for assistance in a timely and prudent manner using due regard and exercising Safety Protocols at all times. Assistance calls include, but are not limited to: control of violent or unruly patients and visitors, crimes committed on hospital property
- Report and document all accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety/fire hazards and other security related situations.
Job Requirements
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Six (6) months experience as a Security Officer in a hospital or healthcare setting, prior law enforcement or military service; or One (1) year experience as a Security Officer.
- Valid AZ State Driver's License.
- American Heart Association-issued BLS card within 90 days of hire.
Preferred:
- International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) Basic Training for Healthcare Security Officer.
