What are the responsibilities and job description for the Waitperson position at Yavapai Gaming Agency?
Responsibilities: Responsible for using a Point-of-Sale system, serving food and beverages to guests, help break down and cleanup, transport all items needing to be cleaned to the kitchen, training wait staff new hires as needed, cleaning work areas and set up for next shift/day.
Requirements:Must be 18 years or older to apply. Must have a high school diploma or GED. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and adhere to the Tribal/Gaming’s Drug and Alcohol policy. Must adhere to all Tribal/Gaming Agency Personnel Policies and Procedures. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong orientation to excellent guest service. Must have be self-reliant and capable of working independently as appropriate or necessary. Must have a valid Arizona Driver's License and be insurable under the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe's auto insurance carrier. Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Must have Food Handlers Certificate. Must attend alcohol training classes. Must be reliable and a hard-working team player. Must possess strong organizational skills. Must have an energetic personality. Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time. Must be able to lift and periodically carry up to 35 lbs.
Full Time, benefited position, starting rate $10.00-$13.35 TIPS. Must pass a background security check prior to and during the course of employment. Open until filled.
