What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front of House Manager position at Yavapai Gaming Agency?
Responsibilities: Responsible for working to orient new and existing FOH personnel concerning Job Instructions and on the job training associated with the Point-of-Sale Systems, working closely with the Food & Beverage Director to assist in reviewing error reports associated with the Point-of-Sale System, assisting in verifying and posting invoices into the Point-of-Sale system while maintaining and updating records, assisting in Food & Beverage meetings with information regarding the Point-of-Sale system, reviewing and investigating any discrepancies regarding the statistical information on the Retail and Point-of-Sale system, assisting the Food & Beverage department with preparation and maintenance of Job Instructions applicable to the Point-of-Sale system, assisting the Food & Beverage Director in reviewing Food & Beverage Profit & Loss (P & L) statements and general ledger posting for accuracy, working at training of all Food & Beverage staff to enhance guest service, being responsible for all Food & Beverage production in absence of the Food & Beverage Director, and covering shifts as needed to enhance guest service.
Requirements:Must be 18 years or older to apply. Must have a high school diploma or GED. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and adhere to the Tribal/Gaming’s Drug and Alcohol policy. Must adhere to all Tribal/Gaming Agency Personnel Policies and Procedures. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong orientation to excellent guest service. Must be self-reliant and capable of working independently as appropriate or necessary. Must have a valid Arizona Driver's License and be insurable under the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe's auto insurance carrier. Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Must possess strong organizational skills. Must have an energetic personality. Must have Food Handlers Certificate. Must attend alcohol training class and obtain a TIPS/Alcohol certification. Must have basic computer skills. Must be able to lift and periodically carry up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Requirements: Prefer an Associate's Degree. Prefer Professional Culinary Degree or an equivalent combination of culinary training and/or experience. Prefer at least two (2) years of serving experience. Prefer knowledge of inventory control and ordering. Prefer prior supervisory experience.
Full-time, benefited position, starting rate $41,812-$55,610. Must pass a background security check prior to and during the course of employment. Open until filled.
