Electrical/HVAC Supervisor

Day shift: Monday-Friday OT 6am-3pm (UPGRADES & MAINTENANCE COMPLETED ON WEEKENDS)

This position is for Canton, MS ONLY!

Pay will be based initially on experience and adjusted per demonstrated skills and performance.

This position within the Central MS area; will focus upon providing industrial supplemental maintenance to our client within the automotive industry.

Directly managing 8 Electrical and 8 HVAC technicians, providing guidance and ongoing training. Ultimately, supporting our clients preventive and corrective maintenance activities pertaining to all electrical and HVAC activities onsite.

Duties:

· Enforce mechanical maintenance PM program for conveyors and mechanical equipment.

· Develop training programs for skilled maintenance technicians to improve OEE and life cycle of manufacturing equipment.

· Ability to hire, train and develop a work force of 16 team members with various trade and maintenance skills, into a world class maintenance team.

· Implement a continuous Improvement Program with goals and KPI’s to assure OEE and equipment life cycles are achieved.

· Coordinate system repairs and monitor system performance.

· Maintain adequate parts inventory and order items as necessary.

· Maintains certifications for calibrated equipment, maintenance documentation, machine history and all other appropriate documentation for mechanical equipment.

· Supports 5S activities within all departments across the facility.

Systems Responsibilities:

· Troubleshooting power disruptions and outages.

· Monitoring of industrial electrical systems to ensure efficient operation.

· Conducting tests on low voltage and up to 4160 volt & 15kv Sub Stations.

· Installing, diagnosing, and replacing electrical equipment such as switchgear, rack-in circuit breakers, and dry and oil filled transformers.

· HVAC systems; air handlers, as well as all other HVAC components.

Required Skills:

· Must have prior experience in electrical, particularly industrial switchgear up to 15KV.

· Ability to work at heights and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

· Valid driver’s license required**

· Commitment to safety protocols and procedures

· Problem solving and developing effective solutions.

· Past supervisory experience and directly related certifications will be a plus.
