POSITION: Stamping Lubrication

TWO SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

Weekend Days (Fri-Sat-Sun) 6a-7:30p mandatory overtime

Afternoon Shift (Mon-Fri) 2p-10:30p mandatory overtime

Pay will be based initially on experience and adjusted per demonstrated skills and performance.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Initial charting of lubrication preventative maintenance data on all new equipment.
• Continuous updating of all lubrication preventative maintenance data.
• Timely completion of all lubrication preventative maintenance, including filtration programs.
• Reporting any/all equipment malfunction or problem to the lubrication supervisor detected during normal lubrication rounds which may require emergency, breakdown, safety or preventative maintenance.
• Adding hydraulic/lubricating oils to reservoirs and gear boxes during equipment operation as applicable.
• Draining, cleaning and flushing hydraulic reservoirs and gear boxes.
• Lubricating bearings and open gear assemblies; i.e., pillow block, motor, HVAC and process fan bearings. Changing hydraulic oil filters.
• Cleaning hydraulic oil strainers and permanent filters.
• Repacking bearings and couplings during equipment down time.
• Filling airline lubricators and reservoirs.
• Lubricating all conveyor equipment; i.e., power and free chain conveyors, floor conveyors. This includes preventive maintenance of all automatic conveyor lubrication equipment.
• Reporting modification to equipment and lubrication systems which would improve preventive maintenance efficiency.
• Filling, draining, and flushing clutch and brake system on process and maintenance equipment; i.e.
• Practicing good housekeeping procedures; i.e., cleaning equipment that is being worked on, as well as tools and equipment being used.
• Legibly recording and reporting preventive maintenance activities (routine and otherwise) which are performed in addition to those listed in the assigned preventive maintenance schedule.
• Assist with conveyor breakdowns as requested.
• Maintenance support for carriers; transfers and drop lifters.
