Recruiting for a brand new and unpublished role with an excellent firm in DC in need of a mid-level or senior litigation associate with 1-8 years of experience. $215k-380k base. No billable hours requirement. Most associates bill around 1900 hours. Associates can come in to the office as needed. They are very flexible.
About the Practice: The firm focuses on large and sophisticated plaintiff-side litigation in a broad based practice. Class actions, MDL's, etc. You do NOT need prior plaintiff-side experience, as long as you have an interest in the work.
About the Firm: This firm hires with the long-term in mind, and they really value people who think creatively. They also value people who have interests and hobbies outside of work. The firm has very little turnover. The atmosphere is collegial and the work/life balance is definitely better than Big Law. We have received nothing but positive feedback from their associates as well as people who have interviewed there over the years. Associates are not assigned to particular partners. Since there is no hours requirement, associates like that they are not competing over hours. Associates are given hands-on experience and excellent mentorship.
