We are seeking a sharp, trustworthy, and fast-learning Cashier / Operations Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will not only be the face of the store for our customers but also learning the critical behind-the-scenes operations that keep the business running smoothly.
We are specifically looking for someone with the attention to detail to learn our inventory management, product stocking, and daily bookkeeping. We will fully train the right person on all paperwork and reports.
What You Will Do
- Customer Service: Run the cash register efficiently, process payments accurately, and provide friendly service to customers.
- Daily Reporting & Bookkeeping: Learn to reconcile daily sales, verify safe drops, track lottery inventory, and log daily payout receipts.
- Inventory & Stocking: Check in vendor deliveries, verify invoices against physical stock, restock shelves, organize the cooler, and ensure correct pricing.
- Store Upkeep: Keep the front counter, register area, and sales floor clean, organized, and welcoming.
What We Are Looking For
- Quick Learner: A sharp mind with the ability to quickly learn our specific back-office paperwork, reporting systems, and inventory rules.
- Detail-Oriented & Trustworthy: High level of accuracy when handling cash, counting inventory, and entering numbers into daily logs.
- Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting/moving product boxes to stock shelves and coolers.
- Basic Tech & Math Skills: Comfortable using a computer, learning point-of-sale (POS) software, and working with basic retail math.
- Reliable: Punctual, dependable, and capable of working independently during your shift.
