Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer to join our team. Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and oversee all aspects of funeral arrangements, including meetings with families to discuss options, handling necessary paperwork, and coordinating logistics.
· Perform embalming and preparation of deceased individuals with meticulous attention to detail and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
· Conduct funeral services, ensuring that each ceremony is conducted with dignity, respect, and professionalism.
· Provide support and guidance to families throughout the grieving process, demonstrating empathy and compassion.
· Collaborate effectively with other staff members to ensure seamless execution of all services and maintain a cohesive team environment.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of facilities, equipment, and workspaces to uphold our standards of excellence.
· Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices through continued education and professional development.
Qualifications:
· Valid license as a Funeral Director and Embalmer in the state of Florida.
· (preferred) 3 years of experience in funeral service, with a proven track record of excellence in customer service and professionalism.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact sensitively and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
· Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
· Demonstrated commitment to upholding ethical and legal standards in all aspects of funeral service.
· Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
